Preparing the road sweeper for use and operating it correctly over alternating terrain
Directing the road sweeper to the work area and correctly performing sweeping procedures
Demonstrating comprehension of tipping actions, types of diverse, hazardous and toxic waste, and waste landfill codes
Understanding all environmental concerns
Correctly performing all completion procedures
Understanding the potential dangers of working within the industry and his/her appropriate obligations
Comprehending the contents of the skip loader’s handbook and any relevant documentation
Choosing the right safety equipment to complement the job in hand, and fitting accordingly
Identifying the skip loader’s major components and controls whilst outlining their purposes
Completing a safety checklist as per recommendations and legislation, including potential overhead and ground dangers
Preparing the skip loader for travel on site and public roads
Operating the skip loader correctly over alternating terrain and in tight spaces, whilst loaded and unloaded
Confirming the stability of the loading and unloading areas and position the skip loader accordingly
Indicating the ability to transport, collect and deposit skips in varying sizes and weights
Checking the integrity and security of the load in question
Ensuring all deposited skips remain in a safe environment

Comprehending the contents of the multi-lift and drop-hook loaders’ handbooks and any relevant documentation
Choosing the right safety equipment to complement the job in hand, and fitting accordingly
Identifying the multi-lift and drop-hook loaders’ major components and controls whilst outlining their purposes
Completing a safety checklist as per recommendations and legislation, including potential overhead and ground dangers
Preparing the multi-lift and drop-hook loaders for travel on site and public roads
Operating the multi-lift and drop-hook loaders correctly over alternating terrain and in tight spaces, whilst loaded and unloaded
Confirming the stability of the loading and unloading areas and position the multi-lift and drop-hook loaders accordingly

If required, and depending on location and travel, London & Kent Safety Training’s qualified instructors can facilitate training courses quickly but we do not conduct an emergency service.
